Practical load balancing : ride the performance tiger

The emergence of the cloud and smooth, quickly company networks calls for that you simply practice really appropriate balancing of computational so much. functional Load Balancing provides a whole analytical framework to extend functionality not only of one computer, yet of all of your infrastructure. useful Load Balancing begins by means of introducing key strategies and the instruments you will have to take on your load-balancing matters.

House safeguard includes using house (in specific communique, navigation, earth remark, and digital intelligence satellites) for army and safeguard reasons on the earth and in addition the upkeep of house (in specific the earth orbits) as secure and safe parts for engaging in peaceable actions.

Wireless Sensor Networks for Structural Health Monitoring

This short covers the rising quarter of instant sensor community (WSN)-based structural wellbeing and fitness tracking (SHM) structures, and introduces the authors’ WSN-based platform known as SenetSHM. It is helping the reader differentiate particular standards of SHM functions from different conventional WSN purposes, and demonstrates how those necessities are addressed by utilizing a chain of systematic techniques.

Facultad de Informática. Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Campus de Montegancedo, s/n. 28660 Boadilla del Monte. es Abstract. We describe four ontology translation approaches that can be used to exchange ontologies between ontology tools and/or ontology languages. These approaches are analysed with regard to two main features: how they preserve the ontology semantics after the translation process (aka semantic or consequence preservation) and how they allow final users and ontology-based applications to understand the resulting ontology in the target format (aka pragmatic preservation).

Binary ad-hoc relations between concepts are characterized by their name, the origin (source) and destination (target) concepts, and their cardinality, which establishes the number of destination terms of each origin term through the relation. Cardinality can be restricted to 1 (only one destination term) or N (any number of destination terms). Optionally, we can provide their algebraic properties. Ad-hoc relations are similar to Protégé-2000 slots whose value type is a class instance. • Constants are components that have always the same value and can be used in any expression.

In this paper, we present a framework that collects and integrates heuristic evidence for ontology mappings, allows a knowledge engineer to browse a space of (assessed) mapping candidates in order to select adequate candidates and then leverage them to a level of formal statements for ontology merging. A simple example session shows the intended handling of the prototype and demonstrates strengths and weaknesses of particular sources of matching evidence. 1 Motivation Within the sharing and reuse effort, ontologies have been widely proposed as a means to alleviate model mismatches at the knowledge level [17].
